Bet if you went to the fabric store you could find the hooks used on the UM tank and simply alter any old tank to be exactly the same thing as the pricey version...

DIY nursing cami. 1. Take apart the thread that attaches the straps to the camisole in the back.  2. Use scissors to trim the strap down so that only about two inches are left. 3. Make a loop and secure with thread using hand needles. 4. Attach loops to your nursing bra clips.. This will keep the cami from falling down. The back of your cami will look like a halter. 5.
