Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. Nothing that really surprised me but an excellent selection of studies to support the premise that success relies on hard work, opportunity and/or /luck.

The first grown up book I've ever read. The learned ways and theories by Malcolm Gladwell are written with great anecdotes and examples to prove a great point. I enjoyed the book because of how it could relate in a typical Singapore environment which is super competitive. And the book just summarises by saying Hey! “Outliers are those who have been given opportunities—and who have had the strength and presence of mind to seize them.” A book worth reading
