As an editor of the high school newspaper, the editor-in-chief of the high school literary magazine, and a college journalism major, I have clearly always been someone who doesn’t mind writing a research paper or an essay. In fact, I welcomed these assignments when I was still in school. I would pick a 10-page essay over a math test literally any day of the week. I’m a fast writer and I managed to get good grades on my papers even when I admittedly didn’t try very hard.
This activity is going to be for third grade students who will need scaffolding regarding the synonym square but who will use resources to find the definition of words in the third grade using the internet or a physical dictionary. This template is a general outline of what students should be working on while reading texts and finding new words they don't understand. The template can be completed together with the teacher and used to assess where students are with their sentence writing.
Amen it may have left us high and dry that's more than apparently obvious but that does not mean we will get up and it definitely does not mean we will ever stop fighting for what we believe in and what we want in life
