I created my bulletin board using "the 'force' is strong with this one" quote. I used 'learning' instead of 'force' and added a mirror. I cut apart a Star Wars characters poster and made adjustments to pictures; if they were holding a weapon, I pasted a picture of a school item over it, and I changed 'weapon' to 'favorite subject' and gave the characters a school subject that they liked.

"Check Out the Lineup in." Using a T-shirt theme and hanging student shirts along a clothing line is a colorful idea for a Back To School bulletin board display. You can also have the children decorate their t-shirt

A super hero twist on the getting to know you letter! I always send an info sheet with my student letter at the beginning of the year. The kids attach or draw a picture of themselves in the left box and then turn themselves into a super hero in the right box. They also answer the SUPER statements to tell me a little more about themselves. The super hero art is copyrighted by Scrappin Doodles. The border is from Mixed Up Doodles and the font is from Jennifer Jones. Hope you can use it!
