Aquaponics -- WOW! It would be awesome to adapt the system into something more pretty, like a larger man-made pond with fish and raised beds for the plants with the hoses and reservoir hidden underground or something.

Parade Editor.... My husband and I took a used 55-gal. plastic drum and made it into a rain barrel by cutting a hole into the top for the downspout and drilling a hole near the bottom for a faucet so we could attach a hose and water our garden with naturally soft (and free!) rain water. Because the barrel wasn't very attractive I painted it with flowers so it would blend in with our garden.
