This an example of the first One-way Police Radio Communication that was Created in Detroit, Mi on April 7,1928. This was a system they had been working on for about 7 years under the guidance of Police Commissioner William P. Rutledge. This was something that was much needed by the police because at this time there were many robberies, and thefts of sorts happening. The culprits were getting away cleanly and they was not an answer for what was going on. This system later went national.
