Boston Tea Party was political protest by Sons of Liberty in Boston, Dec 16, 1773. Demonstrators, some disguised as Native Americans, in defiance of Tea Act of May 10, 1773, destroyed entire shipment of tea sent by East India Company. They boarded 3 British tea ships & threw 342 chests of tea into Boston Harbor. British government responded harshly & episode escalated into American Revolution. The Tea Party became an iconic event of American history.

H.H. Raj Rajeshwar Maharajadhiraj Shri Hanwant Singh of Jodhpur (1923 - 1952) was the ruler of the Indian princely state of Jodhpur from 1947 until 1952. He was a great player of Polo & is accredited as world polo champion. He succeeded his father as Maharaja of Jodhpur in 1947. He was progressive & had faith in democracy. After Indian independence & formation of Rajasthan as a state within India, he formed a new political party in 1952, contested elections & won a majority in his region.
