This may be my favorite cowboy portable outdoor fire pit, very cool for the beach. But I can see this being great for enjoying different nooks in a yard.

DIY FirePit for $20: Buy a 15 gallon wash pail from Lowe's.  They are only about 15 dollars.  Get four bricks as well (about 4 dollars).  Put the bricks inside the pail.  Spread them out flat, to cover the bottom of the pail, and then set your logs on top of the bricks.  This allows for airflow under your logs to keep the fire going.

Martie Knows Parties: Backyard "Campout" Party

easy DIY fire pit - I think I would prop it up on 3 bricks to keep it off the ground. What I really like is you can move it when it's not being used!!

Outdoor Fireplace. This would be perfect for my front porch that is enclosed. It would keep it nice and cozy in the winter months.
