Prince Albert - husband of Queen Victoria. He actively made reforms to education and art during his role of consort to Victoria. He took an interest in the arts, science, the abolition of slavery, trade and industry.  The project for which he is best remembered was the Great Exhibition of 1851, the profits from which helped to establish the South Kensington museums complex in London.
