Psalms 51:10-12 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
Davids Harp David was a master musician, a poet, a writer of psalms, a worshipper and a man after God’s own heart. This cute craft will serve as a great reminder of the life of David. A lowly shepherd boy chosen by God to be the king of Israel.
Psalm 51 is a Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?" (Jeremiah 17:9) David has realized that what the prophet Jeremiah said and fell on his face before God. Isn't it a beautiful thing when Scripture confirms Scripture? Everyone can (and should) do this when they realize their brokenness and desperate need for a Savior.
