This is supposed to be all inspirational and shit, but all I can think of is two best friends. Friend A trying to get friend B to do something stupid and reckless with them. Friend A: Come on man, nothing bad is gonna happen, trust me. Friend B: you're asking me to trust you?! I'm still coughing up water from the last time you let me drown at the swimming pool!! Friend A: That was one time! Friend B: I can still taste the chlorine!!
People regard John Greens books as teen novels, when in actual fact they hold such deep and adult themes. Like tfios, it's all about life and how we should make the most o it while we can. Looking for Alaska: is all about decisions, and paths and how friendship can help us. John Green writes teenage novels yes, but makes them more appealing by not writing about pathetic teen themes.
