After some form-finding, I came up with this model to run through the 3D printer. It was created in Generative Components and is a surface defined by the space between two curves. Both curves have a range of variables [radius, length, rotation, etc]. The model is actually constructed from a series of thin cylinders which run between the curves, very closely spaced, since the 3D printer must have a thickness in order to print  blog.rafolio.co.uk
