The Best Ever Ratatouille recipe We didn't find this recipe to be the best ever. It needed drastic seasoning and was naturally much too sweet on its own! I'd add more sauce next time and an Italian seasoning concoction.
crock pot rataouille 2 large onions, cut in half and sliced 1 large eggplant, sliced, cut in 2 inch pieces 4 small zucchini, sliced 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 large green bell peppers, de-seeded and cut into thin strips 2 large tomatoes, cut into 1/2 inch wedges 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste 1 teaspoon dried basil 1/2 teaspoon oregano 1 teaspoon sugar 2 teaspoons salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped 1/4 cup olive oil red pepper flakes, to spice it up
Baked Ratatouille "If you're gonna name a food, you should name it something that sounds delicious. Ratatouille doesn't sound delicious. It sounds like rat, and patootie. Rat Fatootie, which does NOT sound delicious." (Why yes, I did just quote that from memory because I need a life.)
