Red velvet Rice Krispie treats 3 tbs unsalted butter 1/2 cup Red Velvet Cake Mix 3 cups mini marshmallows 6 cups Rice Krispies 1 cup white chocolate chips In a large saucepan over medium heat melt the butter, add cake mix and marshmallows. Once melted, stir in the Rice Krispies and half of chips. Don’t over mix or they’ll melt. Press into the prepared pan using a greased spatula or baking paper. Press in the rest of the chocolate chips on top.
Sweet and Sour sauce recipe: 1 cup water, 1 1/4 cup sugar, 3/4 cup vinegar and 1/4 cup orange juice. Mix together and boil in saucepan. Once boiling add cornstarch mixed with cold water to boiling mixture. Continue adding cornstarch/water till desired consitency is reached. I used about 2 tsps cornstarch with 1 tbsp water.
PICKLED EGGS, Red Beets & Onions Recipe. Pretty color, a treat to eat! 2 (15 oz) can beets. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 12 shelled hard boiled eggs. 1/4 C white sugar. 1/2 C vinegar... Put beet juice into saucepan. Place beets, onions, & eggs into a large bowl Pour sugar & vinegar into the saucepan with beet juice & bring to a boil. Reduce heat to LO. Let mixture simmer 15 minutes. Pour mix over the beets, eggs, & onions. Seal the bowl & refrigerate 3+ days. The longer the better.
