Red Wing Heritage "Lineman" Boots. The new "Lineman" boots adopt the signature "Lace-to-toe" design of the classic 606, where the shoe laces go all the way from the toe part to the top for stable footing. Aside from this design, the shoes also features the "Wide Panel" construction which makes the side and the toe wider for better comfort. Lastly, the upper is crafted in Retan leather which gives a smooth and polished surface to the boots and stay true to its heritage.
From the Red Wing archives, this season we see the re-release of the Lineman boot. Made in the USA. Brown leather boots with black Vibram sole, round toe, narrow profile. Originally designed by the Redwing Shoe Co. in 1910 for linemen, the workers responsible for stringing and repairing electric and telephone lines.
