The best way I've found to cook your own pumpkin for delicious fall recipes. Rinse pumpkin, cut in half, scoop out seeds, place face down in baking dish, add 1/4" water and roast in 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Let cool and simply scoop out pumpkin flesh from the skin. Store in fridge for up to a week or freeze. Tastes better, is cheaper and healthier than pumpkin puree from the can.
