Rochus Misch was Adolf Hitler's bodyguard from 1939 until 1945, and he was in the bunker when Hitler committed suicide. He never expressed regret over his wartime service or doubts about “the boss”. He died in September 2013 at the age of 96, the last survivor of the entourage holed up in Hitler's underground lair. General Bernd Freiherr Freytag von Loringhoven (6 February 1914 – 27 February 2007), was an officer in the German Army during World War II. At the time of his death, he was one of the last three known living witnesses (along with bunker telephone operator Rochus Misch and Hitler Youth courier Armin Lehmann) to the events in the Führerbunker at the end of World War II.
