Day 24 in my Romans Bible Journal. I'm struck today that Paul had wanted to visit the church in Rome for years but wasn't able to. I assumed that circumstances kept him from being able to make the trip. But today I saw that he had not gone before because he knew he had to finish the work he was CALLED to do before doing what he wanted to do. He made his life about fulfilling God's call on him instead of trying to fit God's call into his existing life. God's call and will for me come first…
