Nojoqui Falls, near Solvang. Maybe this waterfall may "underwhelm" compared to others worldwide but we locals enjoy its quiet walk back along oaks and Sycamores to experience this refreshing gift at the trail's end. It characterizes the many, special little natural beauties of our region. I'm thankful that's been preserved for the public.
Knapp's Castle is a magical spot in Santa Barbara County. It's an easy hike, easy to get to, and kids like it! You'll find it after a short drive along East Camino Cielo, about a mile past Painted Cave Rd. From the castle you'll be able to see an amazing view of Lake Cachuma, too.
