STEM Challenge: Sedimentary Rocks Model! Challenge your kiddos to make sedimentary rocks using edible layers! Click on the picture for a STEM discussion and great ideas for a sedimentary rocks lesson! Making Sedimentary Rocks! We went outside and filled an empty bottle halfway with sediment, grass, and small twigs. Then we added 1/4 cup of Epsom salt and then filled our bottles the rest of the way with water, then shake, hard! Let sit overnight and then drain the water and let dry completely, cut away the plastic to reveal your rock!!
