Selena Quintanilla-Perez RIP. Selena was murdered at the age of 23 on March 31, 1995 by Yolanda Saldivar, the former president of her fan club. On April 12, 1995, two weeks after her death, George W. Bush, governor of Texas at the time, declared her birthday “Selena Day” in Texas. Her resting place, a voice of an angel, she will definitely be missed by her many fans, including myself, family, friends and associates.
Selena’s microphone covered in her well known listick color. All her mics ended up looking like that after her concerts. This one is on display at the Selena Museum in Corpus Christi Texas and is from the infamous Last Concert.
