Brasted Church www.adamswaine.co.uk Brasted is a village and civil parish in the Sevenoaks District of Kent, England. The parish is located to the west of Sevenoaks town. The parish includes the settlements of Brasted Chart and Toys Hill. The single slightly winding street of the village has a number of 18th-century houses.

Begun in 1456 by the Archbishop of Cantebury it is celebrated for its 365 room (1 for each day of the year), its 52 staircases (1 for each day of the week) and its 7 courts (1 for each day of the week). In 1566, during the reign of Queen Elizabeth 1, it came into the possession of her cousin, Thomas Sackville, whose descendants the Earls and Dukes of Dorset and Barons Sackville have lived there since 1603.
