Have you ever wanted to be a part of ABC’s Shark Tank, or CBC’s Dragon’s Den? Well, you now have your shot! You will participate in an invention exposition where you will plan, design and showcase your invention! Students will complete a variety of activating activities, move onto some acquiring lessons, and finish by applying what they have learned.
Shark Tank! Classroom or school competition! It's never too early to encourage your young entrepreneurs. I've included everything you need with this resource to have a "Shark Tank" inspired classroom competition in your own classroom. Students will use innovative math and science skills with partners to create a product that will help students with specific problems at school. Great for teaching inventions, personal finance with profits, losses and etc. and just plain fun!$
This is a week long lesson that supports project-based learning. Designed for second though fourth grade, this project allows students to work in groups to invent a product, advertise it and try to sell it to the investors in the "shark tank." The students will be challenged by their classmates to defend their product in the shark tank.
