I bet this would keep the kids table busy at Thanksgiving. Do it between to pieces of plastic like the summer water blobs, but heat seal around all the edges.

Fill nylon stocking with concrete for the base. Create gills underneath the cap with thin sheets of metal. Sculpt a mold for the cap, and press it into WET sand lined with a thin sheet of plastic, and slowly fill with concrete. Add realism by removing small wedges of concrete along the edge of the cap. Cap mold: A circle of cloth sheeting could be draped over a bowl/balloon, and brushed with concrete. The wavy edges could be created with rolled up newspaper under the edge of the cloth.

Jeremiah Karr from Element Church in Cheyenne, WY brings us their take on the ever popular The Weave using different materials. Their stage is 30 ft long, 12 ft deep and 9 ft from the ceiling. They had a bunch of 2x4's lying around that they reused for this set. Then they bought four 4x8' sheets of plastic poster board–not quite coroplast and it's not quite poster board. Plastic poster board is strong enough to not tear and flexible enough to not crease. They cut each piece of the plastic…

This is a teacup project we did for a show so we thought we would share. We'll work on detailed instructions, but this will get you started and your imagination will take over. All materials are available from Model Builders Supply (MBS). The plastic sheets, windows & doors listed for the house were all painted with acrylic paint. I printed a pic of curtains & glued it to the back of the window frame. A small area to work with, but you can really get carried away with this project. Have fun!
