Homemade no-scrub jewelry cleaner that even gets rid of tarnish! Place jewelry in pan or bowl lined in foil with the shiny side up. Mix together boiling water, salt, baking soda and pour in. SLOWLY add vinegar. Let sit mins then rinse.
Nothing worked. I couldn’t get my (very) tarnished silver jewelry clean and shiny. Short of paying a professional to steam clean my jewelry, I’d tried everything and been disappointed. Then I saw a homemade jewelry cleaner on Pinterest and thought why not. I’d given up hope on restoring my jewelry… View Post
Silver jewelry cleaner: 1. Line a glass bowl with aluminum foil, shiny side facing outward. 2. Place the silver/jewelry in the bowl making sure it's touching the foil. 3. Cover the jewelry with baking soda - just enough so that you can't see it. 4. Add boiling water - enough to immerse the jewelry. 5. Let soak for 3 to 5 minutes ( or less if it's not really dirty).
