Had an unexpected extra hour today and needed some lunch. So I whipped this up really quick and tossed it onto a wrap with some spinach, mushrooms and peppers. So much better than the store bought stuff!!

Pesto Hummus | PureWow   4 ounces fresh basil  3 cups canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed  4 ounces feta cheese  1¼ cups extra-virgin olive oil  Zest from 1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons)  Juice from 1 lemon (about 2 to 3 tablespoons)  Salt and freshly ground black pepper

3 garlic cloves, 1 Tbsp. of lemon juice, 1 Tbsp. of olive oil, 1 can of drained and rinsed chickpeas, 1/4 cup of plain yogurt or 2 Tbsp. tahin, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper, your choice of spices (paprika, fresh parsley, cumin…), process everything until smooth, add a little water if needed for smoother consistency
