turned out amazing! the recipe is for 2-10 inch rounds but i only have 8 1/2 inch rounds so i made 16 cupcakes with the leftover batter and froze them. so so so good. i used hot water instead of coffee although i realllyyyy want to use coffee next time because i bet it would be even better. anyways. fav chocolate cake recipe for sure.
CHOCOLATE CAKE - very fudgey and good chocolate cake. I halved the recipe and did it in two 9 inch pans (thinner layers). Halved vanilla buttercream and it was enough for a very thin overall coat. Cake was excellent.
