TED Talks are a perfect source of entertainment and education for millennials with a few minutes of spare time a day to learn something new, hear an inspirational story or laugh till you cry. Here is a list of eight must-see TED Talks every woman should watch in her 20’s:
Not to sound too much like your parents, but saving money is actually really important. I know that as soon as your get your allowance or paycheck, you’re immediately tempted to spend it on something frivolous, whether it’s a new lipstick from Sephora, the book you’ve been waiting to read, or tickets to see your favorite band in concert. And while all of that does sound fun, it’s not practical to spend all of your money at once.
Read Aloud with Accountable Talk: some of this is overly scripted, obviously. But such a great resource for ideas and accountable talk moves. I like how it's paired specifically with reading...which is something TNCore training doesn't address...these days we do a lot of our reading in class (also another interesting convo to have...)
