The "Main Négative" (= Negative Hand) in the caves of Pech-Merle in Cabrerets (Lot - 46), Southwestern France. Together with the Cosquer Cave near Marseille, Perch-Merle is the second oldest prehistoric site with artwork known to humanity. Stencil printed on the rock wall, the Negative Hand may be esteemed as something between 17.000 and 25.000 years old.
