Teddy Roosevelt. He was the one guy who really worked for the people. He set up the National Parks, he busted up the giant corporate monopolies that had gotten too powerful. At the same time, he established the United States as a major world military power. Politicians hated him, corporate titans hated him, special interest groups hated him, but he was loved by the people.
The people who need help from this lost tax income the most, the poorest Americans, the ones having trouble making it on their wages, the ones who can't send their kids to college, are the ones voting these guys into office. This is really CUTE and CLEVER! Fishers of People craft. OUTCOME: We did this for a VBS craft. If you have limited time and little ones, I would not recommend this. We used mesh squares and it was hard on our craft ladies. The one positive is that we had each child write names on the people they were putting in their net as a promise to take special interest in sharing the Gospel with them.
