Spice up your life! The Spice girls made it ok for little girls to hang out with others who weren't just like them... they made cliques obsolete. And for that, we owe them. The notion that girls could get along fine while being wildly different was a powerful message. Girls can be who they really are, and still be friends with whoever they want to mingle with. Yay! My daughter loved them when she was little and I still do. Together and separately. They rock!
The Spice Girls are a British pop girl group formed in 1994. The group consists of five members, who each later adopted nicknames initially ascribed to them: Melanie Brown ("Scary Spice"), Melanie Chisholm ("Sporty Spice"), Emma Bunton ("Baby Spice"), Geri Halliwell ("Ginger Spice"), and Victoria Beckham, née Adams ("Posh Spice").
