Every year as warmer weather approaches, I make several homemade products for summer including my homemade sunscreen and these homemade bug spray recipes.I don’t actually use sunscreen often often because it limits Vitamin D production and I prefer to eat my sunscreen instead.
Since spring is finally here, I made some homemade sunscreen yesterday. Carrot seed oil is an amazing natural sunscreen! Recipe: in a 2 oz spray bottle, mix 25 drops carrot seed oil, 1 teaspoon Vitamin E oil, 2 teaspoons almond oil, then fill the rest of the bottle with Fractionated coconut oil. This recipe keeps me from damaging my skin and burning, but still allows me to get natural Vitamin D. I reapply this every 60-90 mins if I'm out in the direct the sun. firstname.lastname@example.org
Tired of tripping over all those shoes at the front door? Hang some shoe storage from removable adhesive 3M Command hooks. These also do a great job of organizing sunglasses, bug spray, sunscreen, flashlights, radios, etc. Pictured are two Ikea "Scubb"s with the bottom two rows cut off.
