Osaka Castle, Chūō-ku, Osaka, Japan.... .... Osaka Castle is one of Japan's most famous landmarks. It played a major role in the unification of Japan during the sixteenth century (Azuchi-Momoyama period). The main tower stands on a plot roughly one square kilometer. It is built on platforms of rubble infill supported by walls of dressed stone, using a technique called Burdock piling. It is five stories high above the huge defensive stone base.

Isle of Arran - Arran or the Isle of Arran is the largest island in the Firth of Clyde, Scotland. With an area of 432 square kilometers it is the seventh largest Scottish island. It is in the unitary council area of North Ayrshire. In the 2011 census it had a resident population of 4,629.
