St Georges Hall, Liverpool. Famously the World's first air-conditioned building. Some 30,000 Minton tiles cover 140ft by 72ft; the mosaic floor was laid in 1852. The hand-crafted tiles depict tritons, sea nymphs and boys on dolphins, as well as the citys coat of arms. Ref: Liverpool Echo (photo by Dave Wood)
Sunday morning at Salerie Harbour. Looking across you can see the facade & balustrade of the former St Georges Hall where the The Rolling Stones played back in August 1964. #LocateGuernsey Link to the whole collection of 'Georgie's Guernsey':-http://chrisgeorge.dphoto.com/#/album/4daaes Picture Ref: 22_01_17 — in Guernsey.
