Within the master bedroom was a small entry hallway and extra closet, creating a perfect spot to carve out a small laundry room. Full-sized stacked washer and dryer sit next to adjustable shelves for holding supplies. New louvered doors offer ventilation and flow with the home’s plantation shutters throughout.
Utilize Kitchen Cabinet Space Disguised behind what looks like a kitchen pantry, this compact washer and dryer fits snugly into a nook in the kitchen. Cabinets above the washer and dryer can be used to organize detergent, dryer sheets, and other laundry essentials. ~SouthernLiving
Laundry Room Renovation To maximize storage I opted for a stackable w/d in a great steel color. Adjacent is a tall split cabinet with one open side for the ironing board, broom, mop, etc and the other all shelves. Designed by Peapod Interiors
This looks like what we'll be working with. I'd like it to hold 2 baskets in the bottom section, as well as detergent. At the top, instead of a cabinet, I'd like short drawers converted to drying racks.
