My 1933 Smith & Corona typewriter is completely manual made from American steel and it's a beast. The keys are glass (just like these PaperHeartDaily earrings) and the keystroke is deep. No weak fourth fingers! It's a ton of work to type for a distance but I love it and use it almost daily. Beautiful. This ancient blade type inspires innovation in modern blade smithing. Originally made of bronze this blade did its very best to overcome the challenges of the relatively weak metal. With modern HC steel, electrum-bronze plated blade-except for the cutting edge- and some semblance of a handguard wrapped in paracord this could have been the perfect survival sword. Its downfall. Too recognizable.
