My go to perfume! The first fragrance by Stella McCartney, inspired by the fragile beauty of a rose, is contrasted by sensuality of amber. Playing with the opposition of the masculine and the feminine as well, the bottle’s lines, both precious and sharp, frame a seemingly infinite plum dégradé.
Stella. This is a lovely fragrance! The rose and amber stand out to me the most. It's very rosy without being too sweet or cloying. It's a grown-up rose scent. From Fragrantica.com: In the top notes there are rose oil, peony and a gentle touch of fresh tangerine. In the heart of the perfume there is rose, whose gentle scent is emphasized by the deep note of amber in the base.
I tried this at Sephora the other day and I couldn't stop sniffing my wrists. I love it most after about an hour, when the rose and peony have softened and the amber deepens. It feels like négligée in liquid form.
