Also never leave home without a bottle of water and a phone charger, Use ratemyprofessor.com, Make sure you sell back or rent textbooks, and show up early to the first day of class having read the syllabus (it gives the teacher a great impression and could save you in the long run). Also check each teacher's office hours and don't feel too shy to take advantage. From my experience teachers love getting to talk and help you
