One of the biggest challenges of living in a single room is figuring out where to put the furniture. Since my current home is a 250 square foot studio, I've experienced this frustration firsthand, so I've decided to create a handy guide to steer you through the process of laying out your studio apartment.
Arranging your furniture is hard enough when all the furniture you own isn't jammed into a single room. But here you are, in your itty bitty one room apartment, generously called a 'studio', and all that stuff has to go somewhere. Take heart! And take a few lessons from these real-life studio apartment layouts, created by real-life studio apartment dwellers like yourself.

This long-style dresser is a really good idea for splitting a room in half (and functional!). Adding some tall foliage on top would really separate a room without having to add something silly like a curtain, wall, or fold-out panel. galaba_7
