The Japan-U.S. Teacher Exchange Program for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) will provide 24 U.S. teachers and administrators with a fully-funded opportunity to travel to Japan to learn about ESD efforts and strengthen ESD curricula in both countries.

Congrats Erika Galambosné Hornyák (’10 Fulbright Teacher Exchange Programs) for organizing the 6th consecutive Loudoun Valley High School, Purcellville VA – Ady Endre High School, Debrecen student exchange!

Teacher Exchange Program « GILD | The Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) in Uganda abducted children & indoctrinated them into their army. In 2003, a group of 3 friends traveled to Uganda & made a documentary Invisible Children: Rough Cut, about children who commuted to city centers to seek shelter & avoid being abducted. RBHS students partnered with Invisible Children to bring Calistus Ongiya, Head Teacher of Keyo Secondary School, to the US to work with Columbia Public School District teachers.
