'Temple of the Dog' was formed in Seattle in 1990 and conceived by vocalist Chris Cornell of 'Soundgarden' as a tribute to his friend, the late Andrew Wood, lead singer of Malfunkshun and Mother Love Bone. The line-up included former 'Pearl Jam' members with Eddie Vedder & Chris Cornell providing lead and backing vocals. The band released its only album, the self-titled Temple of the Dog, in April 1991.

Chris Cornell -Lead singer of Soundgarden. He also formed the band Audioslave with Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine and formed a side project band named Temple of the Dog with Pearl Jam as a tribute to the late Andy Wood. Very unique voice with a wide vocal range, spanning B1-G5 in full-voice, and up to E6 in falsetto. He looks good here .
