500 Greatest Albums of All Time

#45 - The Band were four-fifths Canadian – drummer Levon Helm was from Arkansas – but their second album is all American. Guitarist Robbie Robertson's songs vividly evoke the country's pioneer age ("Across the Great Divide") and the Civil War ("The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down"), while reflecting the fractured state of the nation in the 1960s. #orangecountyrealtor #jeffforhomes #greatestalbums

"The Weight." The Band. The song was included on their first album apart from Bob Dylan, "Music from Big Pink." Lead vocals by the drummer, Levon Helm. I mourn with all the good people of Turkey Scratch, Arkansas, the passing of one of the great vocal stylists of the late 60s or any decade since.

35 beautiful band logo designs

Metallica band logos The Metallica logo showcases everything that a metal logo should be Created by Turner Duckworth, the famous Metallica logo got a redesign back in 2008. Based on the band's original version from 1981, Duckworth also designed the identity and packaging for the band's album 'Death Magnetic'. Like countless other metal bands, Metallica's own take on the metal aesthetic is something that their fans cherish; whether it be a tattoo or scrawled on school books.

Paul McCartney & Wings - Band on the Run - This was Wing's 3rd album, released in 1973.. It became Wings' most successful album and remains the most celebrated of McCartney's post-Beatles albums. The band was started in 1971 by post-Beatle, Paul McCartney & his wife, Linda. Former Moody Blues guitarist Denny Laine was also a key member of the group. Two major songs from this album were "Band on the Run" and "Jet".
