These travertine tiles naturally absorb moisture and make perfect coasters. We use waterproof ink to create the images on the coasters. Cork sheets are precisely cut and glued onto the back of the coasters for support. They are naturally rustic, natural, and look great on any coffee table.

The self-promotional designs featuring senior citizens of a beach community, were done in collaboration with Parliament of Owls to launch their new letterpress imprintable die-cut coaster line titled The Coasters. The coasters were letterpress printed in Pantone 325 Green-Blue and Pantone 142 Orange on 60 point Pulp Board stock. See the rest on the Cranky Pressman’s blog.

I started out be coating the coaster molds with Vaseline so that the resin wouln’t stick to them. You can use mold release but Vaseline works just as well.
