The Forsyte Saga (TV Mini-Series 1967- ????)

This dramatisation of The Forsyte Saga was the one I grew up with. Then of course I read the books. Funny how Galsworthy lets you sympathise with Soames by the end after disliking him for so long. I enjoyed the later TV version but Damian Lewis so much more attractive than Eric Porter that it tilted a delicate balance. Good TV. Wonderful books .

The Forsyte Saga is another great miniseries. Once my mom convinced me to start watching it I couldn't stop.

The Forsyte Saga netflix... absolutely love this series, glad I gave it a chance. you see just about all the personalities you probably know in real life in this one little british tv show, from pretentious folks (keeping up appearances) to the good down to earth folks. goes from late 1800s to early 1900s (wartime) ... only 2 eps left to watch in first season and I'm trying to savor it :)
