The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. I enjoyed it, though I would have enjoyed it much more if they didn't feel the need to turn every scene into a fight with Orcs! But the return of Legolas almost made up for that. :) Click through for my review: http://missvintagegirl.blogspot.com/2014/01/the-hobbit-desolation-of-smaug.html .
“In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort.”
This quote is perfectly delivered in timing and by character.and in context of the film's transpired events on such an epic scale - so valuable! Love it! Bilbo might be an unfortunate name but he is a gem of a character - heart warming.
