The Wire. The best show ever on TV. And as a former newspaperman, teacher, and current DC blogger, i am glad that it came from the minds of David Simon (ex-journalist with a great 1st name), Ed Burns (ex-cop turned teacher), George Pelecanos (DC writer), and writer Richard Price (great last name).
