Heavenly Lake on Tian Shan Mountains

The Sunken Forest of Lake Kaindy. Kaindy Lake is a 400 m (1312 ft ) long and over 30 m (98 ft) deep lake in Kazakhstan's portion of the Tian Shan Mountains. The lake was created after a massive 1911 Kebin earthquake that triggered a large landslide blocking the gorge and forming a natural dam. Then rainwater filled the valley and created the lake.
