Restorative yoga is the perfect remedy for tired moms, especially at this time of the year. Winter is historically supposed to be the time of slowing down and hibernating. Instead, we wear ourselves ragged preparing for Christmas, shopping, baking, and attending parties. Restorative yoga can counter all of this activity and put our bodies in touch with how were are supposed to feel during this dark, cold period of the year
I often had to stand in a long line, out in the wind and rain at the foodbank and work extra hours, because I often didn't get the ordered child support. I was often under a lot of stress, lacking sleep, and then dealing with a special needs child. Life wasn't always easy, but i did my best.
