Biosphere2 is the largest closed dome research facility ever attempted. Built in the 1990s as an experiment at living on Mars. Despite many issues, the project had many breakthroughs, such as the psychological problems of teams in close proximity, the limited ability to grow sufficient food, the destructive ability of insects and the nature of concrete to eat O2 and generate CO2. 7 people lived inside for 2 years. The project, outside Tuscon, eventually dissolved and is part of U of Arizona.
So, you're thinking about moving to Phoenix (or one of our many cities in the metro-Phoenix area)? Congratulations! Arizona is one of the best states to live in the country, and Phoenix really does... #TheRealEstateFulks #SurpriseHomesForSale #ArizonaProperties
MISSION SAN XAVIER DEL BAC | Tucson, Arizona | Once part of a chain of churches that stretched from northern Mexico to the western U.S. This brilliant white structure is considered the “Sistine Chapel of North America” for the intricate paintings on the walls and ceiling. It is still a Catholic parish serving the Tohono O’odham community for whom it was established in the late 1600s. | Photo via Instagram by @mirceagoia | http://www.visittucson.org/things-to-do/
