Lighting yes, but think florals! Wreath bases, centerpiece element (using the rutt in the tire to encase organic material and slats that would enable you to insert all the way through and out the top) suspended chandelier frame, floating table top runner with risers and mechanic already there to support... rambling... ok, thats my mind when I get inspired!.. I'm on the lookout!
I have to admit, I find these recycled tire planters charming. Planting containers made from tires are pretty easy to make and cost almost nothing. Since it costs to dispose of tires, getting a few used wheels from a local auto shop should be a snap.
